The essay paper has scoring pattern of 130 to 160+ amongst top successful candidates, something which is very improbable to score in GS-1, 2 and 3 papers. Yet, many aspirants end up ignoring this paper, costing them heavily eventually either in terms of selection or a decent rank.
We have started this initiative to provide you with a platform to remain regular in your essay writing practice and get feedback for improvement.

How to make this
Every month on 1st and 15th, we will post two topics on our blog on which you have to write an introduction to the essays.
'Introduction' is the most important part of an essay and we have limited this initiative to it. You are required to hone your skills by writing only the introduction.
The mentors at Mitra's IAS will provide feedback to the essays but we would request each one of you to review at least one essay for everyone that you write to make this a community based learning experience.
Finally, pay attention to write ups already submitted and reviewed. This will give you an exposure of mistakes to avoid and suggestions to follow.
